Rachel Williams was part of Bath National Centre from 2009-2014 and swam for GB and Wales from the age of 15.
She first represented GB at the European Juniors in 2009 in 50m &100m Backstroke. Rachel excelled across many events being an IM swimmer and raced in events from the 100m BK to a 5k and 10k Open water!
She became British Champion in 2013 in the 800m freestyle and broke the Welsh Record for 400 IM, which still stands today. In 2014 she qualified for the Commonwealth Games where she represented Wales in 100m & 200m BK, 200m IM, 200m Freestyle, 4x100m Medley and 4x200m freestyle making finals.
Rachel retired from competitive swimming after the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and she now spends time inspiring the next generation of swimmers.
